     In 1992, we introduced the R & S Sliding Door Locking System. Our goal was to provide a quality sliding door that is reliable, but still offers maximum security for the Using Agency.  To date we have approximately 2,000 sliding doors in use around the country with minimal maintenance required.  We our ahead of our competition due to the fact that we manufacture and install our own cell door devices. Our device has been coined the "Best Cell Door Device" on the market by numerous clients.

     In 1998 R & S Corporation moved to a new Office and Manufacturing Facility located in Addis, Louisiana. Our new facility consists of a 6,000 S.F. office area, as well as a 30,000 S.F. manufacturing area, all located on five acres.   As a result of our continued growth, R & S currently holds licenses in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Virginia.

     R & S also offers specification and design assistance to Owners and Architects throughout the United States due to the specialization and continuous new innovations within the Prison Equipment Industry.   Our designs and specifications set "performance standards" for all the detention equipment required on a project. Our specifications are written to allow competitive bids, but it does stipulate the quality of the materials and installation, thus assuring the owner a quality project.

    When designing a facility, the selection of a Detention Equipment Contractor is the most important decision an Owner or Architect will make.    Design and construction is vital to obtaining a quality facility, but service after the completion allows the owner to maintain a fully operational and secure facility.  At R & S Corporation we strive to provide prompt response to any and all service calls.

       To further assure a quality project, R & S maintains its own installation crews for total control over the installation of the Detention Equipment.  R & S workers are highly skilled and knowledgeable in all aspects of the detention equipment we install on a project.   We maintain a full inventory of spare parts for our sliders and offer same day shipment.
